Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to purchases of Attic Products made through atticvfx.com. Our Products are digital VFX scene files (currently Houdini project files), delivered immediately as downloads. The Site is operated by Attic VFX. Payments and refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record.

The short version

Because our Products are digital and delivered instantly, all sales are final once you have downloaded the file or been granted download access — except where the law gives you a right to a refund, or where a file is faulty or not as described. We always honor your mandatory consumer rights.

1. Digital delivery and your withdrawal right

If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or another region with similar rules, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Because our Products are delivered immediately, you are asked at checkout to consent to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that you lose this 14-day withdrawal right once the download begins. If you have not yet downloaded the Product, you may still request to withdraw within that period.

2. Faulty or misdescribed Products

If a Product is corrupt, broken, or materially not as described, contact us. We'll work to fix or replace it, and if we can't, you're entitled to a refund. Please give us a chance to make it right before opening a dispute — most issues (a missing dependency, the wrong version, a broken link) are quick to solve.

3. What isn't refundable

Outside the situations above, we generally don't refund:

• A change of mind after you've downloaded the Product
• A compatibility issue you could have checked before buying (for example, your Houdini or renderer version, where that information was provided)
• Difficulty using a Product that is working as described (we're happy to help, but this isn't grounds for a refund)

4. How to request a refund

Contact us at space@atticvfx.com with your order details. As merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy processes refunds and makes the final decision, in line with its own policy and applicable law. Lemon Squeezy may also issue a refund at its own discretion (typically within 60 days of purchase) to resolve a dispute.

5. Chargebacks

If something's wrong, please contact us or Lemon Squeezy first — we'll almost always sort it out faster than your bank can. Opening a chargeback without contacting us may result in losing access to purchased files.

6. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your country.
