This Privacy Policy explains what Attic ("we", "us", "our") does — and doesn't do — with your data when you use our website at atticvfx.com (the "Site"). We're a small independent studio making VFX scene files for artists and studios.

1. What we collect

We only collect what we need to run the store and improve it.

When you buy or contact us, we may collect:

• Your email address
• Your name or username, if you share it
• Order information (which Products you bought, date, price, country)
• Your messages and support requests

When you visit the Site, we may collect:

• IP address
• Browser and device type
• Pages you visit and how you interact with the Site

This is mostly done through basic analytics and server logs.

2. Payments

3. How we use your data

• Deliver your purchases and manage downloads
• Help with support questions and issues
• Keep the Site running and improve it over time
• Send transactional emails (important updates) — note Lemon Squeezy sends purchase receipts as merchant of record
• Send optional product news, if you opt in

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email.

4. Sharing your data

We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with the services we need to run Attic, such as payment processing (Lemon Squeezy), email and newsletter tools, and analytics and hosting providers. Each gets only the minimum information needed to do its job. We may also share data where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep data only as long as we need it to provide your Products and support, meet tax and accounting obligations, and run and protect our business. When it's no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it where reasonably possible.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: see the data we hold about you, correct or update it, ask us to delete it (unless we must keep it for legal reasons), object to certain processing, and withdraw consent for marketing. 7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is perfect, but we take security seriously and follow good practices.

8. Children

Attic is not aimed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has shared data with us, contact us and we'll remove it.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version is always on the Site with an updated date. If you keep using the Site after changes go live, that means you accept the new version.
